WireGuard in, OpenVPN out
So I’ve come accross WireGuard, which is the best thing since sliced bread for the (home) VPN. It has awesome features and they sum it up themselves summing it up with it might be regarded as the most secure, easiest to use, and simplest VPN solution in the industry.. I couldn’t agree more.
There’s one very nice blogpost you need to follow to get Wireguard up and running on your linux server, it’s WireGuard VPN Road Warrior Setup by Emanual Duss.
So I was used to OpenVPN inside docker, using Kylemanna’s ‘OpenVPN for Docker’ image, which is a great solution, but now I want the same for WireGuard.
My plan is to create a docker image running WireGuard, because I like running everything in a host from docker. If I like it an can make it generic enough, I’ll share it later on.
